Ole Miss Bowl Game Predictions

I’m no expert, but from the looks of it Ole Miss has a good chance of going to the Sugar Bowl or the Peach Bowl. The No. 8 Ole Miss Rebels finished out their most-wins regular season on Thanksgiving Day against the long-time rival Mississippi State and finished with one of the top records in the SEC. Ole Miss’ bowl game fate seems to lie in Alabama’s hands as they head to the SEC championship against Georgia.

Peach Bowl

This article suggests if Georgia makes the College Football Playoff and Alabama doesn’t, that will put Alabama in New Orleans competing for the Sugar Bowl and Ole Miss in Atlanta competing for the Peach Bowl. The Peach Bowl takes place on December 30th.

Sugar Bowl

In this scenario, Alabama makes it to the College Football Playoff, putting Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl on January 1st in New Orleans. In this case, Ole Miss is projected to play No. 5 Oklahoma State who is a familiar opponent for Ole Miss bowl games.

Of course, predictions get wackier as they go on and a lot of decisions are still to be made. We’ll stay updated to keep you updated so come back soon for more information on the Ole Miss Rebels.
